I have been with Valerie since my wedding ten years ago, and I really like that she recommends colours that suit me, listens to what I say, and does not rush through the whole process. She explains why she is using certain products for me, so it never feels like something she just replicates for everybody, and she gives her honest opinion while still respecting what I want for myself. More recently she did my makeup and hair for a corporate shoot, and I also appreciated that she prepared a little touch up package for me afterwards because she considered that my shot might only be a few hours later. Her prices feel reasonable, maybe a bit premium, but not unreasonable.

I’ve been going to this clinic for over a decade for botox, filler, ultherapy, and facials, and doctor Sylvia is just wonderful. She is extremely popular amongst the expat community, her entire staff is respectful, kind, and professional. There are probably some places that do it cheaper, but for the quality, the price feels completely reasonable and everything is great value. Do I need a lawyer to buy property in Singapore?
Yes. Conveyancing here is done by a law firm, and your bank will usually want one it works with. Get the firm involved before you sign anything, since the option to purchase and the stamp duty timing both have deadlines that are easy to miss when you are new.
Who handles my work pass, my employer or me?
Your employer applies for an Employment Pass or S Pass through MOM, not you. Where an immigration specialist earns their fee is the surrounding paperwork: a Dependant's Pass for your family, a Long Term Visit Pass, or a later permanent residency application through ICA, which is a separate process with its own criteria.
How do I register a company here?
Companies are registered with ACRA, and a private limited company needs a company secretary appointed within six months and at least one director ordinarily resident in Singapore. Corporate service providers handle the whole set, which is why most newcomers use one rather than filing alone.
Do I have to file a personal tax return?
