I’ve been going to this clinic for over a decade for botox, filler, ultherapy, and facials, and doctor Sylvia is just wonderful. She is extremely popular amongst the expat community, her entire staff is respectful, kind, and professional. There are probably some places that do it cheaper, but for the quality, the price feels completely reasonable and everything is great value. I’ve already recommended her dozens of times, the whole experience with them is amazing.

I’ve been with them for 5 years now, and I still enjoy going. I take the 1 on 1 personal training sessions with Brandon, and it's very different from the other gym group classes I go to. He really keeps me motivated and there is definitely progress. I needed someone to look out for me and push me to do more and I notice it’s very beneficial with him. Compared to other places, the price feels really good. Depending on the experience level of the trainer, their starting price is a bit higher or lower, which is also fair.

I engaged with them last month. I had a very fast and good experience with them because the team communicated very clearly. When I told them what I wanted, they gave very good advice, and the quality exceeded my expectation. The colors were very nice and comfy, and they were more affordable than I expected. I searched for other companies and they were the most affordable ones, I highly recommend them.

Singapore has excellent public sports facilities alongside a crowded private market, so you have real choice. Two things are worth knowing before you commit. Personal trainers and most coaches are not licensed by anyone, so certification is a question you have to ask rather than assume. And gyms, studios and trainers often sell long prepaid packages, which are cheaper per session but hard to recover if the business closes or you move away, and a work posting can end sooner than a package does. Locallista lists trainers, studios, sports coaches and wellness providers in Singapore, screened before listing and ranked only on phone-verified reviews.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are personal trainers regulated in Singapore?
No, there is no licence to practise, so anyone can call themselves a trainer. Ask what certification they hold and who issued it, and for rehabilitation or injury work look for a physiotherapist instead, which is a registered profession with real requirements behind it.
Should I buy a big package of sessions?
Try a single session first, then buy the smallest package that gets you a better rate. Long prepaid bundles tie up money you cannot easily get back, and that matters more here than in most places, because plans change quickly when your stay depends on a job.
What should I check before signing a gym contract?
The minimum term, the notice period to cancel, whether you can freeze the membership, and what happens if you leave the country. Ask for those four answers in writing. Ask too whether the quoted price is nett, since some contracts add GST on top.
Can I freeze a membership if I travel?
Many places allow it, usually for a limited number of months a year and sometimes for a small fee. It is rarely offered unprompted, so ask before you sign rather than after, and get the answer written into the contract rather than agreed verbally.
Are there classes I can attend without a membership?
Yes, plenty. Independent studios and community sports centres run drop-in and pay per class options, which is the sensible way to try several things before committing to one. It also suits shift work and travel better than a fixed monthly membership.
