It’s good. I go to FitStop Upper Thompson to train and I like the coaches there. They are very good with high rocks training and I go there for the lift class. They respond on time, the price is very affordable, and I have recommended to friends already.

It’s been wonderful. My son loves the team and he’s been having a great experience. The coaches are really nice, very professional, and well knowledgeable in how to connect with the kids. He played for Get Gungho with both the U8 and U9 team and he seems to have settled in really well. the coaches are really good at making sure everything is ready before class starts and making sure he feels comfortable. The quality is really good considering the price, it feels very affordable and worth it. We have already recommended them to two of our friends, and two friends signed up since we joined.

I’ve been with them for 5 years now, and I still enjoy going. I take the 1 on 1 personal training sessions with Brandon, and it's very different from the other gym group classes I go to. He really keeps me motivated and there is definitely progress. I needed someone to look out for me and push me to do more and I notice it’s very beneficial with him. Compared to other places, the price feels really good. Depending on the experience level of the trainer, their starting price is a bit higher or lower, which is also fair.

How much does a Hyrox gym membership cost in Singapore?
Gyms running Hyrox programming charge S$300 to S$450 a month for unlimited access, S$35 to S$45 to drop in and S$300 to S$370 for a ten class pack. Longer commitments bring the monthly figure down to roughly S$290 to S$360. The cheap alternative is worth knowing about: ActiveSG gyms and facilities are S$3.50 to S$14.80 an hour, and since Hyrox is running, sled work and a handful of simple stations, a lot of the training can be done there for very little. What you lose is the coaching and the training partners, which for most people is what actually keeps them going.

Group classes
How much do Hyrox group classes cost in Singapore?
Group classes are S$28 to S$45 each depending on the size of the pack you buy, with drop-in at S$35 to S$45 and monthly unlimited at S$300 to S$450. Group is the right way to train for this. The race is a fixed format, so the programming suits a room rather than an individual, and having people to chase on the running legs does more for your time than anything a private coach will tell you. Check the class actually includes the Hyrox stations and is not simply a conditioning class with the name attached, since the sled and the ski erg are the parts you cannot improvise.

Outdoor sessions
How much do outdoor training sessions cost in Singapore?
Outdoor coaching is S$60 to S$100 one to one and S$30 to S$60 a head in a small group, cheaper than a studio because nobody is paying rent. It suits the running and bodyweight side of Hyrox well, and ActiveSG fitness corners and stadium tracks cost S$3.50 to S$14.80 an hour or nothing at all. What you cannot do outdoors is the sled and the ski erg, so most people combine outdoor running with gym sessions for the stations. Expect early morning or evening slots given the heat, and ask what happens when it rains, because a coach with no wet weather plan simply cancels.

Personal training
How much does Hyrox personal training cost in Singapore?
One to one coaching is standard Singapore rates, S$80 to S$200 a session, with specialist coaches at the top of that. Most people buy it in short blocks rather than ongoing, to fix a specific station or to get a pacing strategy set before a race, and that is usually the right use of the money. Small group at S$30 to S$60 a head sits between private and class. If you are new to the format, two or three private sessions early on are worth more than the same money spread over months, because getting the sled push and the wall balls right at the start saves a lot of wasted training.

Competition preparation
How much does competition preparation cost in Singapore?
A race build normally means an unlimited membership at S$300 to S$450 a month plus some one to one time at S$80 to S$200 a session to work on the stations you are worst at, which for most people is the sled and the burpee broad jumps. Remote programming from a coach is S$150 to S$400 a month if you would rather train on your own schedule. Add the entry, S$147 to S$196 depending on category, and spectator tickets at S$23 to S$32 a day if family are coming. A twelve to sixteen week block is the usual shape, so the realistic total is a few months of training plus the race.

Endurance and running
How much does running coaching cost in Singapore?
Coached running is S$80 to S$180 one to one, group run squads are around S$30 to S$60 a session, and remote endurance programming is S$150 to S$400 a month, which is how most runners buy it since the running itself is done alone. Half the Hyrox race is running, so this is not the part to skip. Races are worth budgeting for separately: a Singapore full marathon entry is S$70 to S$130 and a half is S$50 to S$110. Heat and humidity change what sensible training looks like here, so a coach who simply hands you a plan built for a temperate climate is not doing the job.

Functional fitness
How much does functional fitness training cost in Singapore?
Classes are S$28 to S$45, monthly unlimited S$300 to S$450, and one to one S$80 to S$200. This is the general training that Hyrox sits on top of, so if you are not racing anything it is a reasonable place to stay. Ask what a session actually contains before buying a pack, because the label stretches from genuine movement work to a circuit with a rope and a sled and back again. Class packs are the flexible option and monthly unlimited only pays off at three sessions a week or more, so start with a pack and switch once you know your real attendance rather than your intended one.

Hyrox-specific training
How much does Hyrox training cost in Singapore?
Training for Hyrox splits into two costs, and people usually forget the second. Coached sessions at a gym running a Hyrox programme are S$28 to S$45 a class, or S$300 to S$450 a month for unlimited, which is where most people train. Then there is the race itself: entry to the Singapore event is S$196 for Singles, S$185 a head for Doubles and around S$147 a head for the Relay. Budget both from the start. If you are training for a specific race date, tell the coach when you sign up, because a programme written twelve weeks out looks very different from general conditioning.

Strength & conditioning
How much does strength and conditioning cost in Singapore?
One to one is S$80 to S$200 a session, small group S$30 to S$60 a head, and gym classes S$28 to S$45. Specialist strength coaches sit at S$150 to S$350. For Hyrox specifically, the strength side matters more than most people expect, since the sled push and pull punish anyone who has only trained running. You need a gym with the right kit, so factor in a membership at S$300 to S$450 a month or ActiveSG facilities at S$3.50 to S$14.80 an hour. A coach who tests where you actually are before writing anything is worth paying more for.

Group classes in Catalan
Can you train for Hyrox in Catalan in Singapore, and what does it cost?
No. Singapore gyms coach in English and there is no Catalan speaking training scene here at all. Finding a coach who speaks it would be luck rather than a search, and would be a private arrangement at normal rates of S$80 to S$200 a session. Spanish speaking coaches are much easier to find if a shared language is the point. For everyone else the standard class at S$35 to S$45 is the answer, and the Hyrox format is identical worldwide, so language is rarely the barrier people expect.

Group classes in Dutch
Can you train for Hyrox in Dutch in Singapore, and what does it cost?
Singapore gyms coach in English and Dutch language sessions do not exist here. A private coach who speaks Dutch is a private arrangement at ordinary rates of S$80 to S$200 a session, usually found through the Dutch community rather than through a gym. It rarely matters in practice: the Hyrox format is fixed and identical worldwide, the station names are the same, and coaching is largely demonstration, so a standard class at S$35 to S$45 works from day one.

Group classes in English
How much do Hyrox classes in English cost in Singapore?
English is the working language here, so every class runs in it and there is no premium: S$35 to S$45 to drop in, S$28 to S$45 a class in a pack, S$300 to S$450 a month for unlimited. What is worth asking about instead is whether the gym has the actual race equipment, particularly a sled you can load properly and a ski erg, and how many people share them in a class. A room of twenty taking turns on one sled is a very different session from a room of eight, and that matters far more to your race day than anything on the price list.

Group classes in French
Can you train for Hyrox in French in Singapore, and what does it cost?
Classes here are coached in English and there is no French language training scene. If a shared language matters, the route is a private coach who speaks French, at ordinary rates of S$80 to S$200 a session, usually found through the French community rather than a gym's website. No gym charges extra for language. In practice this matters little for Hyrox, since the format is fixed, the stations are the same everywhere and a session is mostly demonstrated and counted rather than explained at length.

Group classes in German
Can you train for Hyrox in German in Singapore, and what does it cost?
No gym in Singapore runs German language sessions, since coaching here is in English throughout. A private coach who speaks German is the only realistic route and is charged at normal rates, S$80 to S$200 a session, usually found through the German speaking community. Hyrox began in Germany, so the terminology will already be familiar to you, and the format is identical in every country. A standard English speaking class at S$35 to S$45 is understandable from the first session.

Group classes in Portuguese
Can you train for Hyrox in Portuguese in Singapore, and what does it cost?
Training here is coached in English and there is no Portuguese language circuit. A private coach who speaks Portuguese is the route if it matters, at the usual S$80 to S$200 a session, generally found through the Brazilian and Portuguese communities. The Hyrox format is the same in every country and the stations are counted rather than explained, so a standard class at S$35 to S$45 is workable straight away regardless of how much English you have.

Group classes in Spanish
Can you train for Hyrox in Spanish in Singapore, and what does it cost?
Gyms here coach in English and there is no Spanish language training scene in Singapore. A private coach who speaks Spanish is a private arrangement at ordinary rates of S$80 to S$200 a session, usually found through the Spanish and Latin American communities. As with the other languages, this is less of an obstacle in Hyrox than elsewhere, because the format never changes and the work is demonstrated and counted rather than talked through.

Frequently Asked Questions
What people want to know before hiring hyrox and Competitive Sports in Singapore.
What should I check before hiring hyrox and Competitive Sports in Singapore?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and a price in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check the credential yourself rather than taking it on trust.
How are prices quoted in Singapore?
Watch for prices shown with "++". That means 10% service charge and 9% GST are added on top, so a quoted S$100 is really about S$120. Ask whether a figure is nett before you compare two quotes.
Do I need a licensed professional in Singapore?
For some trades, yes, and it is not optional. Electrical work needs an EMA licensed electrical worker, plumbing that touches the public supply needs a PUB licensed plumber, and building work falls under BCA. Ask for the licence number.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other people's reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and turns up when they said they would.
What should I avoid when hiring hyrox and Competitive Sports in Singapore?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I find hyrox and Competitive Sports I can trust in Singapore?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real experience, not who paid the most.
