Chiayi

Singapore on Jul 2026

I was looking for something new with wellness, and Skylar was in this very interesting intersection between wellness and movement. She gives a very safe space to explore different movements, sometimes with prompts like moving indirectly or directly, fast or slow, and then journaling what you feel after the dance. I really liked the energy she brings to the class, and she is very receptive to feedback, hardworking, and tries different music and venues. The class atmosphere is very interesting too, with people from different backgrounds, sometimes dancers and even random musicians joining.

I like the sessions a lot, they have personally helped me as a person. Matt follows up, he is thorough with his work, and the communication is very clear. He is very serious in his work and has great manners, and the price feels fair for the value I get. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Singapore on May 2026

I’ve been with them for 5 years now, and I still enjoy going. I take the 1 on 1 personal training sessions with Brandon, and it's very different from the other gym group classes I go to. He really keeps me motivated and there is definitely progress. I needed someone to look out for me and push me to do more and I notice it’s very beneficial with him. Compared to other places, the price feels really good. Depending on the experience level of the trainer, their starting price is a bit higher or lower, which is also fair.

How much do wellness studios & practitioners cost in Singapore?

Real price ranges from the jobs our vetted wellness studios & practitioners actually do. Updated June 2026

Cold plunge / ice bath

How much does an ice bath session cost in Singapore?

A single cold plunge session is S$30 to S$60 depending on the studio, with short 15 minute slots at the bottom of that and full bathhouse access at the top. Drop-ins are commonly S$40 to S$45. Packs bring it down: five passes from around S$220, and monthly memberships from about S$273, or roughly S$75 a week at some clubs. Most studios run an introductory offer, often around S$25 for two sessions, which is the sensible way to find out whether you actually like it before buying a pack. Sessions are short, so factor in that you are paying for minutes rather than an afternoon.

Contrast (hot and cold) therapy

How much does contrast therapy cost in Singapore?

Contrast therapy, alternating sauna and cold plunge, is how most Singapore bathhouses sell their sessions, at S$40 to S$60 for a single visit and around S$55 for a 90 minute slot. Packs and memberships are the better value if you go regularly: multi-passes from about S$50 a session, five pass packs from S$220, credit packs from S$600 and monthly unlimited around S$273 to S$290. Try an introductory offer first, commonly around S$25 for two sessions. Book ahead for evenings and weekends, since these venues are small and the popular slots fill.

Energy healing / Reiki

How much does Reiki cost in Singapore?

Reiki and similar energy sessions are priced like other private wellness work, roughly S$100 to S$250 an hour depending on the practitioner, with home visits attracting a travel fee of about S$20 to S$40. Group sessions cost considerably less per person. This is an entirely unregulated field in Singapore, so there is no qualification to check and price tells you nothing about quality: go on personal recommendation. The important boundary is medical. Reiki is a relaxation practice, and it should never be substituted for treatment of a diagnosed condition. A practitioner who suggests otherwise is one to walk away from.

Floatation tanks

How much does a floatation tank session cost in Singapore?

Floatation is offered by a handful of recovery studios here rather than being widely available, and it sits at or above bathhouse pricing, so from around S$60 a session with packages and memberships bringing that down. Sessions typically run 60 minutes. Because so few venues offer it, prices vary more than for sauna or cold plunge, and it is worth checking the specific studio rather than assuming a market rate. If you are claustrophobic, ask whether the pod can be left open, which most can, and note that studios usually ask you to shower before and after as part of the slot time.

IV drips / vitamin therapy

How much do IV vitamin drips cost in Singapore?

Drips are administered at aesthetic and wellness clinics rather than studios, quoted per session, with a doctor's consultation of S$50 to S$100 on top. They are marketed here for energy, immunity and skin brightening. The honest position before you buy a package: for someone eating normally without a diagnosed deficiency, there is little good evidence that intravenous vitamins outperform an oral supplement costing a fraction as much, and the skin-whitening formulations carry genuine safety questions. If you think something is wrong, a blood test through a GP is cheaper and actually tells you.

Sauna and heat therapy

How much does a sauna session cost in Singapore?

Bathhouse access with sauna is from about S$55 to S$60 a session, with 90 minute sessions from S$55 and multi-passes bringing that to around S$50. Memberships run from roughly S$75 a week or S$290 a month for unlimited semi-private access. Singapore's bathhouse scene has grown quickly, and most venues sell sauna as part of a contrast circuit with a cold plunge rather than on its own. Cheaper alternatives exist: many condominium gyms and larger commercial gyms include a sauna in the membership you may already be paying for, which is worth checking before buying a pack.

Breathwork

How much does a breathwork session cost in Singapore?

Breathwork is usually run as a group class at a wellness or recovery studio, priced with their other classes, and is often bundled into a bathhouse session at S$40 to S$60 since breath practice is taught alongside cold exposure. One to one sessions with a facilitator are priced like other private wellness work, S$100 to S$250 an hour depending on experience. It costs nothing to try the basics yourself first. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have a history of fainting, tell the facilitator beforehand, since some styles involve deliberate hyperventilation.

Sound healing

How much does a sound bath cost in Singapore?

Sound baths are sold as group sessions at wellness studios, priced in the same band as other studio classes, so broadly S$40 to S$60 a session with packs cheaper per class. A private one to one session is priced like other private wellness work at S$100 to S$250 an hour, and facilitators will often come to you for a small travel fee of S$20 to S$40. Group is the usual format and the better value here, since the experience does not depend on individual attention the way a yoga or training session does. Studios frequently run these as evening events, so book ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What people want to know before hiring wellness studios & practitioners in Singapore.

What should I check before hiring wellness studios & practitioners in Singapore?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and a price in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check the credential yourself rather than taking it on trust.
How are prices quoted in Singapore?
Watch for prices shown with "++". That means 10% service charge and 9% GST are added on top, so a quoted S$100 is really about S$120. Ask whether a figure is nett before you compare two quotes.
Do I need a licensed professional in Singapore?
For some trades, yes, and it is not optional. Electrical work needs an EMA licensed electrical worker, plumbing that touches the public supply needs a PUB licensed plumber, and building work falls under BCA. Ask for the licence number.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other people's reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and turns up when they said they would.
What should I avoid when hiring wellness studios & practitioners in Singapore?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I find wellness studios & practitioners I can trust in Singapore?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real experience, not who paid the most.
