Siew
Singapore, Jul 2026
I hired Jady for a pre move in cleaning at my rental place, and the place was still really dirty even after the owners had cleaned it themselves. The cleaner did a very thorough job and even stayed past the hours I paid for because it was simply too dirty. She cleaned areas I did not even think of, like the metal gate outside and the skirting along the floor, and I was very happy with the service. It felt very reasonable for what I got, everything was smooth and professional, and I have already recommended them to friends.

I have been using Jimmy’s cleaning service for almost two years and it has been nice. They keep the same helper for me, which is quite helpful because I do not need to explain again, and if there is a holiday they inform me before and adjust another day if needed. The cleaning is very thorough, the helper is regular, genuine, and someone I can rely on and trust. I like the service, I like the helper also, and I would continue with them.

I needed someone to clean our newly renovated house, and Jady and the team were definitely one of the better options. They were very swift to reply, and a team of 4 or 5 ladies came down, they were really nice, professional, enthusiastic, and most importantly very effective. I was happy with the results and had a positive experience with them. Very recommended. The price felt fair and just, and even gave me a discount.
How much do cleaning agencies cost in Singapore?

Condominium common-area cleaning
What does common-area cleaning for a condominium cost in Singapore?
Cleaning a condo's lobbies, corridors and clubhouse is bought by the building's management committee as a contract, and none of the local guides publish a rate for it, so it's quoted after a site visit. The nearest published figures are commercial ones: a per square foot rate for routine cleaning, and a fixed price for a crew of two or three cleaners on a one-off job. If you sit on the committee, get crew size, sessions a week and the exclusions in writing before you compare bids.
Ongoing common-area contract
tendered, quoted after a site visit
Routine commercial cleaning, per sq ft
S$0.07 to S$0.20 per sq ft
One-off crew, 2 to 3 cleaners for 4 to 8 hours
S$450 to S$950
Regular weekly home cleaning
How much does a weekly home cleaner cost in Singapore?
Most agencies in Singapore bill by the hour with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours a session, and on a recurring booking you usually supply the products yourself. Weekday slots are cheaper than weekends, and a standing weekly booking tends to sit at the low end of the range because the flat never gets very dirty. Before you set it up, ask for the agency's NEA cleaning licence number and check the cleaner is legally employed (the Household Services Scheme is the usual route), since a freelancer leaves you with no cover if something breaks.
Hourly rate, weekday
S$20 to S$35 an hour
Typical session of 3 to 4 hours
S$60 to S$140
Weekend slots
S$5 to S$10 an hour extra
Chinese New Year surcharge
S$50 to S$150
Airbnb and short-term rental turnover
How much does a cleaner charge per turnover for a short-term rental in Singapore?
No local guide prices a turnover on its own, so hosts book it as a regular hourly session with a 3 to 4 hour minimum, and the bill depends on the flat's size and how the last guest left it. Some agencies offer same-day slots if you book in the morning, and a weekend changeover carries a small hourly premium. Agree the scope in writing (linen, restocking, rubbish), and check your building allows short stays before you set up a repeat booking.
Per turnover, booked as a 3 to 4 hour session
S$60 to S$140
Weekend changeover
S$5 to S$10 an hour extra
Linen, laundry and restocking
ask for it to be itemised
Regular office cleaning
How much does regular office cleaning cost per month in Singapore?
Office contracts in Singapore are priced on crew hours, how many sessions a week you want and how many toilets and pantries there are, so two offices of the same floor area can get very different quotes. One weekly session for a small office sits at the bottom of the range, daily attendance on a large floor at the top, and a central address can add a little. Ask what's included (consumables, cover when a cleaner is on leave, carpet) and whether the monthly figure is with or without GST.
Small office, one session a week
S$300 to S$500 a month
Medium office, 2 to 3 sessions a week
S$500 to S$800 a month
Large office, daily attendance
S$900 to S$1,900 a month
One-off session, per cleaner (3 to 4 hours)
S$150 weekdays, up to S$250 on Sundays
Carpet deep cleaning
How much does carpet deep cleaning cost in Singapore?
Rugs are priced by their exact size and wall-to-wall carpet by floor area, so measure before you ask, and expect a photo request for anything delicate. Offices usually book it after hours so the carpet is dry by the morning. Ask what method they use, how long it takes to dry and whether stain treatment is extra.
Rug, around 160 by 230 cm
S$150 to S$170
Wall-to-wall carpet, per sq ft
S$0.08 to S$0.25 per sq ft
Office carpet, after hours
quoted by floor area
Eco-friendly cleaning
Does eco-friendly cleaning cost more in Singapore?
Not much. On hourly home cleaning you usually supply the products yourself, so you simply hand over the green ones and pay the normal hourly rate. Agencies that bring their own eco products may add a small premium, and for disinfection ask for NEA-approved products rather than settling for a vague 'green' label.
Hourly home cleaning, you supply green products
S$20 to S$35 an hour
Agency brings its own eco products
small premium on the standard rate
Office package with eco products
slightly above a standard package
Exterior wall washing
How much does exterior wall washing cost in Singapore?
None of the local price guides publish a rate for washing a building's outside walls, and agencies quote it after seeing the height, the access and the finish. Anything above ground level is priced on how the crew gets up there, and external glass is normally a separate line from routine cleaning. Ask how they'll reach the upper floors, whether the crew is insured for work at height, and get the scope in writing.
Facade or external wall wash
quoted after a site visit
High-level or external glass
quoted separately from routine cleaning
Marble and stone cleaning and polishing
How much does marble or stone floor polishing cost in Singapore?
Proper marble or stone polishing (grinding out scratches, honing and sealing) isn't published as a flat rate by the local guides, so it's quoted after a look at the floor's condition and area. What is published is commercial floor care per square foot, buffing to bring back the gloss and a tile and grout scrub, which gives you a starting point. Be wary of a cheap general cleaner on marble: an acidic product can etch it for good, so ask what they'll use before anyone starts.
Marble or stone restoration and polishing
quoted after a site visit
Floor buffing to restore gloss (commercial)
S$0.04 to S$0.12 per sq ft
Tile and grout scrub
S$0.12 to S$0.21 per sq ft
Pressure washing
How much does pressure washing cost in Singapore?
Jet washing a driveway, patio, car park or balcony isn't priced in any of the local guides, so agencies quote it per job once they know the area and the surface. It usually comes up as an add-on to a landed-house deep clean or a commercial one-off, both of which are priced on scope rather than by the hour. Ask for it as a separate line so you can see what the wash itself costs.
Driveway, patio or car park wash
quoted per job, by area
Add-on to a landed house or commercial deep clean
ask for it as a separate line
Window cleaning (one-off)
How much does a one-off window clean cost in Singapore?
In a flat the inside glass is normally done within an hourly cleaning session rather than priced per window, and condos with full-height glass take longer, which is why their hourly rate runs a little higher. Commercial glass is the one place a per-pane rate is published. Anything on the outside of a high floor is quoted separately, so ask how they'll reach it before you compare prices.
Inside glass in a flat
part of an hourly session, 3 to 4 hours minimum
Commercial glass polishing, per pane
S$2 to S$5 a pane
High-level or exterior glass
quoted separately
Frequently Asked Questions
What people want to know before hiring cleaning agencies in Singapore.
What should I check before hiring cleaning agencies in Singapore?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and a price in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check the credential yourself rather than taking it on trust.
How are prices quoted in Singapore?
Watch for prices shown with "++". That means 10% service charge and 9% GST are added on top, so a quoted S$100 is really about S$120. Ask whether a figure is nett before you compare two quotes.
Do I need a licensed professional in Singapore?
For some trades, yes, and it is not optional. Electrical work needs an EMA licensed electrical worker, plumbing that touches the public supply needs a PUB licensed plumber, and building work falls under BCA. Ask for the licence number.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other people's reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and turns up when they said they would.
What should I avoid when hiring cleaning agencies in Singapore?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I find cleaning agencies I can trust in Singapore?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real experience, not who paid the most.
