I took an online Netherlands Dutch language course and I find this course better than other courses I tried because it is more practical. I can really exercise the speaking, and that is the most difficult part for me, because speaking is something different from learning from books or with AI. I also like the modern approach, for homework we can use AI and dictionary and then I explain my mistakes and discuss them with the teacher. I started in a group of three with one teacher and now I am doing one to one, which is perfect, and I would definitely continue with them.

I was very happy with this method because it is an alternative to the traditional way of learning a language. From the first lesson we had to write an essay and read an article in full text, so it was very challenging and stimulating, and I liked that it started from what I needed to say in everyday life and at work. The classes were online, very direct, and tailored to my needs, and the material was interesting, sometimes even connected to my job and background. The price felt fair for private lessons, and overall I really enjoyed the course and now I feel like I have the tools to keep improving my Dutch by myself.

For me it was very interesting because it is a way for adults to learn a language that is not like the lessons we know as kids, with a fixed schedule and program. From the beginning I had the chance to read articles and talk in French, and even though I started at A1 and thought I could not talk, with Sofia Karfi's motivation I managed to talk in French very soon. We also worked with movies, songs, articles, and later past exam papers when I was preparing for the B2 exam, and there was always focus on what I needed most, especially oral and listening. It was online, very helpful, and a bit expensive for me at the time, but I learned a lot in about nine months and reached B2 level.
