Ellie

Barcelona, Jun 2026

Yesi was incredibly helpful and very personable. She translated my FBI background check from English to Spanish, knew what needed to be translated and when, and even helped me with legal knowledge, very efficient and quick. I used her two years ago and I’m using her again this year because I know she is the best. Price could be cheaper - these things cost a lot of money in general - but it is what it is.

FERNANDO

Barcelona, Jun 2026

Marc has always fulfilled on time, came very quickly to the places, and responded with seriousness on delivery and price. He did maintenance on some properties for me, an integral reform, and also installations of electricity and water, and when I need someone I keep him in my agenda. He is not the cheapest, but he is serious, keeps his price and at the end of the work there are no surprises - the job ends as he said it was going to be. Communication with Marc is very good, he responds right away.

I saw her during a really troubling time with emotions and relationships, and after just three or four sessions of hypnosis therapy she completely turned my life around. I left with a completely different mindset, felt much more confident, and even went on to do my master's degree. She helped me deal with a lot of trauma that had built up over the years, and I speak very highly of her. Price felt fair and I’ve already told other people about her."

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there English-speaking lawyers and accountants in Barcelona?
Yes, and for this kind of high-stakes work it really matters. Many Barcelona lawyers and accountants specialise in helping expats with visas, residency, tax and your NIE, all in English. We list ones reviewed by people who've been through it.
Do I need a lawyer for my visa or residency?
Not always, but many people find it worth it, since the paperwork and the immigration (extranjeria) appointments can get complicated. A good immigration lawyer can save you a lot of time, stress and costly mistakes.
How do I get an NIE (tax number)?
A NIE is one of the first things you'll need in Spain, for almost everything from a phone contract to a lease. Accountants and relocation specialists can sort it for you, often remotely, if you'd rather not navigate it alone.
How do I choose a good immigration lawyer?
Look for clear, public pricing and reviews from clients with a case like yours, whether that's a non-lucrative, digital nomad, golden visa or citizenship. Phone-verified reviews help you tell the genuinely good ones apart.
Can these professionals help before I move?
Yes, many work with clients remotely and start the process before you arrive, which is often the smart way to handle visas and your NIE. Just check that they offer remote consultations.
