Romanie

When I was nearing my due date, I decided to try acupuncture to help induce labor, and I'm glad I did. Jorge was highly recommended by a friend from my mom group who had seen impressive results for her back pain. The process was smooth, his clinic was welcoming, and his gentle approach made the session comfortable; I went into labor just a few days later.

I warmly recommend Daniella's service. I started with bouquets for the house and then asked for a special flower crown for a birthday, and she customized everything upon request, whether dry flowers or fresh flowers. She was very welcoming, very creative, and gave a very professional result - the flowers are fresh, lovely, and she gives a lot of options to choose from. It has been an ongoing process because I ordered over and over again, and when my friends and colleagues saw her flowers, they ordered too.

Hana was very good and responsive with appointments. Communication, attitude and politeness were excellent, and the service itself was excellent. Price was not cheap, not unreasonable - you get what you pay for, and I was happy with the service. Overall I was pleased and would use her again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there English-speaking therapists in Lisbon?
Yes, and a growing number. Lisbon has psychologists, counsellors and therapists who work with the international community in English, both in person and online. We list ones reviewed by other expats.
Why does therapy in my own language matter?
Therapy works best when you can express yourself naturally, without translating your feelings as you go. That's why finding an English-speaking therapist, rather than the nearest one, makes such a difference.
Can I do therapy online?
Yes, many therapists offer online sessions, so you're not limited by neighbourhood and can keep the same therapist if you move. Each listing shows whether they offer it.
How do I find the right therapist for me?
Think about what you're looking for, whether that's anxiety, relationships or a particular approach, then read reviews and book a short intro session where it's offered. Fit matters as much as credentials.
Is there support for couples or families?
Yes, several therapists in Lisbon offer couples and family therapy in English. Filter to what you need and check the reviews.
