Joao

I hired him to DJ two events, a sunset party and an after party for a Digital Nomad Algarve tech conference. He showed up on time, helped set everything up, and played his Electronic Harp with the set, which made an amazing show and put everyone in a very good mood and party environment. We did one show in Lisbon and another in Praia da Arrifana, and everyone was super happy with his set. He was flexible and a fantastic professional, exceeded my expectations, and I can’t praise him more.

Hana was very good and responsive with appointments. Communication, attitude and politeness were excellent, and the service itself was excellent. Price was not cheap, not unreasonable - you get what you pay for, and I was happy with the service. Overall I was pleased and would use her again.

I hired Home Style to clean a three bedroom condo. The first time was just a trial, and I asked for two cleaners so it wouldn’t take more than six or seven hours - with two people it took about three hours. They were very professional, showed up on time, got back really quick, and the two girls were very polite along with the main contact person. The price felt decent and overall they were really good.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there English-speaking vets in Lisbon?
Yes. Many Lisbon vets work with expats and speak English, and there are 24-hour animal hospitals for emergencies. We list ones reviewed by other pet owners, so you can find someone you trust before you need them.
How do I find a good vet for my pet?
Ask in expat and local groups, then check the reviews. Look for a vet near you with strong reviews for the kind of care your pet needs, and note which ones offer emergency hours.
Can vets help with the EU pet passport?
Yes, many Lisbon vets are authorised to issue EU pet passports and handle the paperwork for travelling with your animal. Just mention it when you book.
Where do I find dog walkers, groomers or sitters?
All of these exist in Lisbon, often bookable in English. Browse the category, read the reviews, and check availability for your area.
What should I know about bringing a pet to Portugal?
Portugal is generally very pet-friendly, and a good local vet can advise on registration, microchipping and routine care once you arrive. Starting with a vet who speaks English makes those first questions easier.
