I hired him to DJ two events, a sunset party and an after party for a Digital Nomad Algarve tech conference. He showed up on time, helped set everything up, and played his Electronic Harp with the set, which made an amazing show and put everyone in a very good mood and party environment. We did one show in Lisbon and another in Praia da Arrifana, and everyone was super happy with his set. He was flexible and a fantastic professional, exceeded my expectations, and I can’t praise him more.

Hana was very good and responsive with appointments. Communication, attitude and politeness were excellent, and the service itself was excellent. Price was not cheap, not unreasonable - you get what you pay for, and I was happy with the service. Overall I was pleased and would use her again.

I’ve had maybe four sessions with Maria, the psychologist, all online, and I spoke to her last week. She’s great, very flexible with scheduling, and she definitely personalizes the sessions to me. I haven’t noticed progress yet, but I think that’s the process, and I’m going to talk to her next week. The price feels fair and I would recommend her.

A burst pipe or a tripping fuse box is stressful enough without having to mime the problem. Frequently Asked Questions

Are there English-speaking handymen and tradespeople in Lisbon?
Yes, and demand from the expat community means more tradespeople now say up front that they speak English. We list plumbers, electricians, cleaners and handymen reviewed by other expats, so you're not guessing.
How do I find a reliable handyman quickly?
For non-emergencies, browse by the job and read recent reviews. For urgent problems like a leak, look for someone who offers fast or emergency callouts. Phone-verified reviews help you avoid the no-shows.
How do I explain a repair if my Portuguese is limited?
A photo or short video of the problem does most of the work, and many tradespeople here are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking pro takes the stress out of it entirely.
Will I get a quote before the work starts?
You should. It's normal to ask for an estimate and what the callout costs before anyone starts, and good tradespeople are happy to put it in writing.
Can I book regular help, like weekly cleaning?
Yes, many cleaners and home-service providers offer regular weekly or fortnightly slots, usually at a better rate than one-offs. Look for it in their listing or just ask.
