Romanie

When I was nearing my due date, I decided to try acupuncture to help induce labor, and I'm glad I did. Jorge was highly recommended by a friend from my mom group who had seen impressive results for her back pain. The process was smooth, his clinic was welcoming, and his gentle approach made the session comfortable; I went into labor just a few days later.

I warmly recommend Daniella's service. I started with bouquets for the house and then asked for a special flower crown for a birthday, and she customized everything upon request, whether dry flowers or fresh flowers. She was very welcoming, very creative, and gave a very professional result - the flowers are fresh, lovely, and she gives a lot of options to choose from. It has been an ongoing process because I ordered over and over again, and when my friends and colleagues saw her flowers, they ordered too.

Hana was very good and responsive with appointments. Communication, attitude and politeness were excellent, and the service itself was excellent. Price was not cheap, not unreasonable - you get what you pay for, and I was happy with the service. Overall I was pleased and would use her again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there English-speaking tutors and teachers in Lisbon?
Yes, lots, covering Portuguese lessons, school subjects, music and exam prep. Many tutors are bilingual, which matters whether you're learning yourself or helping a child settle into a new school.
How do I find a good Portuguese teacher?
Decide first whether you want conversational or exam-focused lessons, and in person or online. Then check reviews from other learners. Most teachers offer a trial session, which is the best way to see if the style suits you.
Can tutors help my kids adjust to a Portuguese school?
Yes. Plenty of tutors specialise in helping international children catch up with the curriculum and the language. Look for ones reviewed by other expat families.
Are lessons available online?
Many teachers offer both online and in-person lessons, which helps if you travel or live outside the centre. Each listing shows what they offer.
Is it worth paying for private lessons?
For a specific goal, learning the language, passing an exam or catching up a subject, private lessons are usually faster than group classes because they're built around you. Reviews help you find a teacher who gets results.
