English-Speaking Math teachers in Lisbon

I visited the school and Vadim, one of the founders, showed us around, answered all our questions, and was very nice, which made us decide to enroll. My child is in the preschool mixed group (about 3 to 5 years) and goes every day roughly 9 to 4 in a class with physical education, Portuguese, music, English and math. I feel everyone cares and communication is easy, pick up and drop off are smooth, and I like that teachers don’t force kids to do something, though sometimes the group gets a bit messy and I wish there was a better balance in asking them to follow the rules. The price felt a bit expensive at first, but they were flexible with a discount since we joined in October, so it’s almost okay.

I turned to Sourav's tutoring services for my daughter's 9th-grade struggles with math. It was a great fit since she attends an international school and Sourav speaks English fluently. We didn't track exactly how long she needed the lessons, but it was twice a week for less than a school year. She made significant progress after starting the sessions with him; she couldn't keep up in class before that. Eventually, we stopped because she felt confident enough to continue on her own. We had face-to-face lessons at our home because online learning doesn't suit my daughter well. Each session lasted an hour and was one-on-one, which helped as she was too shy to ask questions in her classroom setting. Sourav would explain concepts and assign extra work, although my daughter only did her school homework-she can be lazy with extra tasks! Right from the start, he asked about the textbook they used in class to align his teaching approach better. The autonomy she gained from these sessions is invaluable considering we've had other tutors who were much more expensive but left her dependent on them.
