English-Speaking Movers in Lisbon

I used Henrique's company for a move from my apartment in Lisbon to a house I bought in the countryside, and I was happy with the service overall, with his team, with his communication, and the price felt fair. We had an issue with a missing item in the van, but Henrique's communication was good and it was resolved in the end. There were no damages or anything like that, just a slight delay in the beginning but everything was fine.

I hired them for a move from Lisbon to Porto, and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, both the person I kept in touch with and the movers themselves. What surprised me was that the final cost was far off from the initial quote, partly because they relied on photos instead of coming to see what needed to be moved and I also needed help finishing the packing. They came with a bigger vehicle and a smaller one, did not manage to fit everything in one trip, and had to come back the next day, which added more time and cost, and there were also some scratches and wall damage. I would still recommend them and would work with them again, but next time I would ask them to come and check everything first so there is no big surprise at the end.

I’ve worked with Francisco a couple of times, including a much bigger show at a museum, where he handled the installation and movement of artworks with his team. He’s very experienced with works of art, always on time and courteous, and we communicated daily with no complaints. He installed very big works - not an easy thing to do - led the team well, is very technical, and listened to instructions and synthesized them into what we needed. I’d recommend him for installation of art or anything that needs moving in that context.
