I did a three-month Portuguese immersion course and it was very good, all is very good. Small class - sometimes four, or three, or two people - and the teacher explained very well all our questions, I felt comfortable and I understood everything. Classes started on time. Price felt a bit expensive and I expected classes every day, but depending on people it was not every day; I finish this month and I plan to come back.

I hired Sandra for European Portuguese. She's not just an expert at the language, she's an expert at teaching, and she meets me exactly where I am, then challenges me from there, which makes it easier to make progress and keeps it organized and applicable to what I'm trying to achieve. The lessons are diverse and I can go as fast or slow as I want - when I was getting stuck in one place she gave me extra material just for that and over the next two weeks I perfected it and moved on, unlike another course where I was stuck for a lot longer. We use Skype and Google Docs and I also bought her program on another platform to supplement, so I had to figure out how to work with those three, but communication is super clear and I feel I get a lot for my money.
