Lisbon, Apr 2026

Oleksandr did his job well, everything was fine. He replaced the bath system part where the tap and shower transition, and also replaced the toilet lid, and it was done in one day. There was a slight miscommunication as I decided to get parts myself and his recommendation was not accurate which resulted in me going back and forward to the store to get the one that fits. Overall was good!

Fern

He was wonderful. He came and took care of the first problem right away, and because he was very competent I asked him to handle a very complicated situation - a beautiful chandelier we couldn’t get all the lights working on for 10 years. It took him quite a while, but he got them all going and I was thrilled. He speaks Ukrainian with a little English and no Portuguese, but we were able to communicate, and he was very nice, courteous, and came on time. He is a very good electrician.

Oleksandr did an excellent job. He came here, noticed the small repairs we needed at home, and it was all very good. He was able to help us solve the problem, he explained everything, and everything is done. The initial appointment was cancelled because of an unforeseen event, but it is ok, it happens. The price felt fair and I was satisfied, overall.

Alarm system installation

How much does Alarm system installation usually cost in Lisbon?

A home alarm in Portugal can be a simple self-contained kit or a monitored system that alerts a security company when it goes off. The upfront install is one cost, and monitoring is a separate monthly fee, so it helps to be clear which you are pricing. Bigger homes need more sensors, which is the main thing that moves the figure.

Alarm install, apartment or small home
€150 to €600
Alarm in a two-storey house
around €1,200
Monitored alarm subscription
from around €37 per month

Security camera installation

How much does Security camera installation usually cost in Lisbon?

Camera prices depend on how many you want, whether they are wired or Wi-Fi, and if you want recording stored locally or in the cloud. A couple of cameras over a door is a modest job; covering a whole house or a business is a bigger one.

Basic 2-camera setup
€500 to €700
4 cameras with remote access
around €750
Full system, 6+ IP cameras
€2,000 to €5,000

Remote monitoring setup

How much does Remote monitoring setup usually cost in Lisbon?

This is the part that lets you see your cameras or arm your alarm from your phone, and lets a monitoring company watch over it if you choose that. The setup itself is usually quick once the hardware is in; the ongoing cost is the monthly monitoring plan.

App and remote access setup
€40 to €120
Professional monitoring
from around €37 per month
