English-Speaking Spanish language schools in Madrid

I enrolled in the one-year Spanish course at Elite Lenguas and I’m really content. I went from zero to B1 in about 6-7 months and I already use it day-to-day here in Spain. The teachers create a really good supporting environment, they ask things like "how is your day" so we speak in Spanish, and if I get stuck they help me say it in Spanish and even remind me later which is really good. We also have cultural activities, like a monthly excursion to a museum, where we use the things we learned, and they explain things based on our level, like A2 for some classmates. Price feels worth it and overall I’m very happy and motivated to keep going.

I took Spanish at Linguaschools Barcelona, did a 10-week intensive of 4 hours a day, then switched to evening classes after work, 2 hours Monday and 2 hours Wednesday. I had four teachers and liked how the lessons were prepared; they switch after the break, communication was clear, and if I missed a class, they emailed me what I missed. They also organize cultural things like a city tour and paella, and I liked that they set clear expectations and expect your own effort, which helped me go from A1 last year to B2 now. Price felt fair for what you get.

My son has been studying with Esther for at least 4 years, and the improvement is amazing - before he started, he would only speak to me in English, and now he talks to me in Spanish. The classes are always very prepared, really fun and engaging, and the teachers bring in things like history, chess, football and Minecraft to keep him focused and excited. He mainly does 1 to 1 lessons, and Esther also created shared lessons with other children his age, which has been a perfect combination. Communication is very proactive and personalized, and the price feels really good, even a bit lower than what I was used to for Spanish lessons.
