Ulises

We met at an entrepreneurs event and since then we’ve collaborated on different projects. He handles the web part - web design, UX, UI - and I do the social media content, content calendar, etc., and we share clients. The experience with him has been good: he is very professional, sincere and trustworthy, fulfills and even exceeds expectations, super organized and punctual, sending meeting links weeks in advance and meeting deadlines. I really recommend him as a person and expert!

María

Madrid on May 2026

Gloria finished my website and designed the whole brand image for my consulting business. I asked for a minimalist but high-impact look in black and white with a few strokes of lime, and she created all the content and the design, very autonomous and she captured perfectly what I was transmitting. I could always locate her, she responded very quickly, converted my tweaks fast, and we set deadlines for each phase and she delivered on time. Prices felt medium low and quite affordable when I was starting, and the extra modules we added were also within what I expected.

I chose Albert because I met him before and I know his job. My family needed a landing page for our restaurant and he asked us about all the details, presented what we said, iterated with more options, helped us build a better design, and even added a type of AI personal assistant on the page with ideas to scale for more restaurants. Communication was great - the only problem was the time zone difference with my sister abroad, not because of him - and he presented on time and the timing helped a lot. At the beginning we thought the price was a little bit more expensive, but then we realized it was okay for a good project, he explained everything very professionally so we could understand, and I will contact him for more work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What expats want to know before hiring web development in Madrid.

Are there English-speaking web development in Madrid?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring web development in Madrid?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring web development in Madrid?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say web development in Spanish?
In Spanish, web development are usually called desarrollo web. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find web development I can trust in Madrid?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
