Susana was my doula, and I hired her at the beginning of my pregnancy because we had just come to Portugal and I really needed someone on my side. She did everything, the informational part, yoga with me, massages, and she was always available if I needed to call or message, it instantly felt like family with her. On the day of the birth she was great, she handled everything, helped my husband know what to do, and made us both feel very confident. She also takes lovely photos, they are beautiful and so real, not staged at all, and the price felt very affordable.

I first hired Susana for a massage when I was having quite bad lower back pain in pregnancy, and she was brilliant. She was very professional, very calm, made me feel very at ease, and even though I am not really someone to like massages, she made me feel very comfortable and it was excellent. When I went into labour a bit early, I called her last minute and she came straight to the hospital, got me signed in, helped with breathing exercises, translated because she is bilingual, and was a really good bridge with the medical staff. She was basically my birthing partner through the difficult part, helped me do the whole thing without pain relief, and after the baby was born she even took some photos.
