I needed a temporary tennis teacher and had two lessons with Carolina. It was super easy to reach her, she was very quick to reply, and she tailored the lessons to my level. She’s fun and has a laid back way of teaching, and from my perspective she seemed better suited to kids or people starting out; for someone at a higher level like me, I felt the sessions weren’t as demanding as I was looking for. She was super nice and kind, and the price felt fair.

I have been working with Frederico for a year now and it has been such a fun experience! He makes the court feel like a fun and chill space. His classes are a mix of individual and group lessons. He does a good job at expalining things without being to hard on us. I look forward to continuing my lessons with him!

I've been with Carolina since I arrived, almost 10 years. She's very fluent, very easy going, and besides tennis instruction she is very good in orientation, gives good advice, and is very networked, ideal for a person coming into the country. I've never been disappointed, communication and professionalism are great, and the price felt fair, even better than I expected. I still train with her and would recommend her.

Do Verify Instructor's Professional Background
Pick an instructor with a solid professional background and expertise in tennis. Look for someone who has played competitively and can provide in-depth knowledge and insight into techniques and strategies, ensuring you receive high-quality training.
Do Look for Clear Communication Skills
Find an instructor who explains concepts clearly and patiently. Effective communication helps in understanding techniques better, which can accelerate your progress and make your training sessions more enjoyable.
Do Consider Instructor's Supportive Approach
Opt for a coach who creates a friendly and encouraging learning environment. A supportive teaching style can relieve pressure and boost your confidence, making your tennis lessons more enjoyable and productive.
Dont’s
Don't Ignore the Importance of Personalized Training
Failing to seek an instructor who tailors sessions to your skill level may hinder your progress. A one-size-fits-all approach can lead to frustration and lack of improvement, making it critical to find an instructor who understands your specific needs.
Don't Overlook Communication Skills
Choosing an instructor who cannot clearly explain techniques and strategies may leave you confused and unmotivated. It's essential to prioritize instructors who are effective communicators and can address your questions comprehensively for an enhanced learning experience.
Don't Settle for Inexperienced Instructors
Hiring an instructor without a solid background in tennis can result in poor guidance and ineffective practice. It's crucial to choose someone with relevant experience and expertise to ensure quality training and progression in your skills.
Don't Rush into Long-term Commitments
Entering into a long-term agreement with an instructor without first assessing their teaching style and compatibility can lead to dissatisfaction. It's advisable to start with a few trial sessions to ensure that their approach aligns with your learning preferences.
