Ben gave me lessons in Portuguese and he is very thorough, he really teaches you how to speak like a native. It is not like A1, A2 or B1, B2, he was using his own material and it is amazing, so I now even feel comfortable enough to speak in Portuguese. In general Ben is very professional, he gets to the root of the language and you can see how much he loves Portuguese and to teach. What was lacking for me was more conversation practice, because I felt there was a lot of theoretical stuff and I did not get much opportunity to actually speak with him.

I did Portuguese lessons with them for about a year, and I had a really good experience. The admin side were very organized and helpful when I had questions, and the teacher I had was really nice and very personable. I really enjoyed my lessons because it was not just about learning grammar and punctuation, it was actually based on my interests and practical, useful conversation skills. I would definitely recommend them, and I would go back in different financial circumstances.

I had a couple of Portuguese classes with Augusto from Pathfinder Languages. He did an evaluation on the first class to know my level and goal for business use, then gave me a textbook and a PDF so I could track it online, and taught me useful phrases for day-to-day business situations; he was very polite and showed up on time. Sometimes the questions I asked didn’t go through perfectly and a few were not completely solved, probably because English isn’t his first language. I wish there was a platform like a shared folder to access all the materials instead of getting them after each class on WhatsApp or LINE, and I would like more real-use Portuguese. I am really satisfied with his class and the price felt fair,
