We brought in Alice to do a live painting during an exhibition in Lisbon to compliment a live performance. She set up easily, told us what we needed, painted while a dancer and a girl singing performed, and she interacted with people but kept working, really capturing the essence of the event and the artist. The painting reflected the ocean and water theme, this blue line where you kind of see a mermaid person inside, and it sold right after the show. We even used it later in a workshop to project AI on top of it, and I loved how she stayed true to her own style while fitting perfectly into the scene.

When I hired them to create a website, I was pleased that it matched my initial vision and was user-friendly. They were very helpful, offering advice and suggestions whenever something didn't seem right. I appreciated their support as someone who had never done this before.

I would definitely recommend Janice. She helps with brand and communication strategy, manages a social media team, creates content in English and Portuguese, organizes events, does translations, and her writing and editing skills are wonderful. She’s always on top of things, super clear with communication, takes initiative, really listens and gets our vision, and has been helping us put ourselves out there in a better way - since she stepped in we’ve seen more followers on both accounts, more website visitors, and our LinkedIn is more active. Price feels affordable for what she produces, honestly she should charge more.

Frequently Asked Questions
What expats want to know before hiring copywriting in Lisbon.
Are there English-speaking copywriting in Lisbon?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring copywriting in Lisbon?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring copywriting in Lisbon?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Portuguese is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say copywriting in Portuguese?
In Portuguese, copywriting are usually called copywriting (redacao). That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
