I run a seasonal rental company in the Algarve and asked Jean-Nicolas to create digital books for our properties so guests can do autonomous arrivals. He built all the books with a simple internet link where clients find the accommodation info plus things like restaurant recommendations. Communication was great - very responsive, pre-visual meetings, he asked good questions, one meeting was enough and then a quick 10-minute call for small changes, and he was on time. Since we put it live at the start of the season, feedback has been positive with no complaints, and the price felt pretty correct - not huge - so I would use him again without hesitation.

We brought in Alice to do a live painting during an exhibition in Lisbon to compliment a live performance. She set up easily, told us what we needed, painted while a dancer and a girl singing performed, and she interacted with people but kept working, really capturing the essence of the event and the artist. The painting reflected the ocean and water theme, this blue line where you kind of see a mermaid person inside, and it sold right after the show. We even used it later in a workshop to project AI on top of it, and I loved how she stayed true to her own style while fitting perfectly into the scene.

I would definitely recommend Janice. She helps with brand and communication strategy, manages a social media team, creates content in English and Portuguese, organizes events, does translations, and her writing and editing skills are wonderful. She’s always on top of things, super clear with communication, takes initiative, really listens and gets our vision, and has been helping us put ourselves out there in a better way - since she stepped in we’ve seen more followers on both accounts, more website visitors, and our LinkedIn is more active. Price feels affordable for what she produces, honestly she should charge more.

Frequently Asked Questions
What expats want to know before hiring marketing solutions in Lisbon.
Are there English-speaking marketing solutions in Lisbon?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring marketing solutions in Lisbon?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring marketing solutions in Lisbon?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Portuguese is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say marketing solutions in Portuguese?
In Portuguese, marketing solutions are usually called solucoes de marketing. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find marketing solutions I can trust in Lisbon?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.

Winning strategies: dos and don’ts for selecting the right marketing solutions
Do’s
Do Prioritize Providers with Strong Communication Skills
Select service providers who demonstrate clear and consistent communication throughout the marketing process. This helps ensure understanding of strategies, goals, and adjustments, leading to more successful outcomes and effective collaboration.
Do Look for Tailored Marketing Strategies
Choose providers who take the time to analyze your business and create custom marketing strategies that align with your unique goals. Tailored approaches often lead to better performance and meaningful engagement with your target audience.
Do Seek Out Providers with Proven Results
Investigate the track record of potential service providers. Opt for those with documented success in enhancing business visibility and engagement through previous client experiences, ideally those that can showcase measurable outcomes.
Do Consider Long-Term Support and Partnerships
Select providers who demonstrate a commitment to ongoing support, such as regular check-ins and updates on strategies. Building a long-term partnership can ensure your marketing efforts evolve alongside your business needs.
Dont’s
Don't Hire Without Understanding Their Process
Ensure you fully grasp the provider's marketing strategy development process before hiring. Many reviewers emphasized effective communication and clarity. A lack of transparency may lead to uncertainty in project goals and results, ultimately hindering your marketing success.
Don't Overlook Experience in Your Industry
Selecting a marketing provider without relevant industry experience can lead to misguided strategies and wasted resources. Reviewers highlighted the importance of specialized knowledge in achieving effective campaigns, as tailored approaches yield better results.
Don't Ignore the Importance of Regular Communication
Failing to prioritize a provider's communication style can adversely affect your project. Many reviews underscored the success of ongoing dialogue and check-ins. A lack of consistent updates may leave you uninformed about your campaign's progress and outcomes.
Don't Choose Based Solely on Initial Impressions
While first impressions matter, make sure to dig deeper into the provider's track record and client feedback. Several reviewers mentioned their initial uncertainty transformed into satisfaction after further interactions. Always seek comprehensive insights before making a commitment.
