English-Speaking Yoga in Lisbon

I recently attended a mother-and-child yoga class in the park with Jessica, and had my doubts about how it would work with kids. Surprisingly, it was very well organized, and Jessica kept the children engaged in a circle, making sure they didn’t run off. Her guidance was excellent, and the class was both enjoyable and reasonably priced.

When I first started, I was a complete beginner, so I really appreciated how Line balanced serious teaching with a bit of humor. Her unique yoga style, "inga," focuses on posture, and you only realize you've worked your body the day after. Even though I've moved to France, I came back for a retreat in Porto because the experience with her is just that enriching.

I’ve been practicing with Cecilia for over two years after a small injury, and her classes made me feel safe to return. She works with physical therapy in mind, constantly checks in about any sensitivities, encourages trusting your own body, and even switches between three languages in the same class so everyone follows - I feel like it’s one of the safest classes I’ve been to in years. The space is small and cozy, kind of cave level with a garden view, very clean, and while a floorboard sometimes comes up, it never interferes. Communication is super clear with the WhatsApp group and monthly updates, she greets you warmly and truly cares, and the price feels super reasonable for such high-quality classes.
