I needed Philippine documents translated into Spanish for the memoria citizenship process. Patricia handled a dozen or more supporting documents for my eldest son's appointment at the San Francisco Spanish embassy, and she sent the translations back in just a couple of days. We did everything by chat messaging - there were time differences so sometimes replies came later, but I had no issues and she was very accommodating. Price was very at par and she even gave me a discount on the larger batch; I tried other translators and it was difficult dealing with them, so I stuck with Patricia and had no disappointments whatsoever.

Anna translated texts from my website from Spanish to English and everything was very easy and very good, super super good. Communication was perfect and very professional, and she delivered in good time - even a little earlier than I expected. The price was more or less what I expected and the quality-price relationship was good. I’m very happy and would recommend her.

I know Edit Viktoria for a very long time, and I had online English lessons with her when I wanted to develop my English and my knowledge for work in a multinational company, especially because I have to make speeches and so on. She is very good, very precise, very professional, and very kind. Whatever you ask her, she will look after it and she really tries to teach you the best.

Frequently Asked Questions

What expats want to know before hiring document translators in Barcelona.

Are there English-speaking document translators in Barcelona?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring document translators in Barcelona?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring document translators in Barcelona?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say document translators in Spanish?
In Spanish, document translators are usually called traductores de documentos. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find document translators I can trust in Barcelona?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
