Cecilia

Sitges on Jun 2025

I hired them for wedding planning and coordination for our celebration at Casa Felix, about 15 minutes outside Sitges. They were super responsive, fun and easy to work with, and even when I kept changing my mind they said do not worry and added last-minute details to the ceremony, with lots of options that made it very simple. They were very organized and even had some free stuff left over from other ceremonies, which was awesome, and planning from the U.S. for a wedding in Spain felt surprisingly smooth. Weddings are always expensive, but the price felt fair and we stayed within our budget.

I did a VR escape room here and it was very, very funny - not the regular escape room. We booked through Instagram, chose from five options and went with the pirate one; sometimes it was a little difficult, but Xavi was super friendly, patient, spoke Spanish and English, gave us tips and even let us stay a bit longer so we could finish. The place is just one room, very clean, you put the glasses on and walk around, and the location is great because outside there is a square full of bars. Price felt good to me - this kind of activity can be quite expensive, but it felt like the right price for the experience.

Barbara

Barcelona on Jun 2025

We hired Petra and the Pearl Sandals team as our wedding planner in Barcelona and it went super well. They helped with basically everything - finding the best food, the music and DJ, the decorations, and even arranging buses from the center to the venue, and everything went as planned. Petra is very warm, easy to connect with, super available in English, and nothing was too much for her, even when guests had specific requests; she took away a lot of stress for us. She kept the flow from ceremony to dinner to the dance, also helped with a welcome party the day before, was flexible when we chose the venue ourselves, and the price felt fair.

What should I check before hiring events and party organizers in Barcelona?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?

What should I avoid when hiring events and party organizers in Barcelona?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say events and party organizers in Spanish?
In Spanish, events and party organizers are usually called organizadores de eventos y fiestas. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
