I was visiting Barcelona and we just walked into her store and met her, a delightful lady, very nice, with beautiful things. After I got home I contacted her by email and purchased something nice from her store as a gift for my wife. Whenever I contacted her she replied quite quickly during normal business hours, and the price felt fair. I’m highly satisfied and would go back to her store when we’re back in Barcelona.

I bought two pairs of earrings as a gift. I visited the store first, then ordered online, and they arrived at my home on time and were exactly what I expected. Everyone was very pleasant, responsive, and thoughtful, and they clearly care about what they’re doing; they even sent a note after Christmas to check how she liked them. The price was what I expected and the whole experience was wonderful.

I bring visitors to Assumpta’s atelier in the Gothic area as part of a local crafts tour, and it’s always a highlight. She specializes in almost ancient or medieval jewelry, working with precious metals like gold and silver and unusual gemstones, and the way she tells her story makes everything completely coherent. She’s incredibly charming, has really good English, and could not be nicer or more accommodating - if the studio isn’t open, she’ll open it for you. It is handcrafted and bespoke, so a bit expensive and not for everybody’s budget, but what she does is pretty unique and people often ask weeks in advance to visit her workshop.
