I found Vanessa through Rover and have been using her for a couple of years for longer trips. She takes really good care of my dog - lots of exercise, long walks out in the countryside, and she sends pictures every day and videos, so I always know what he’s doing. He comes back very happy, very tired, and she even gives him a bath so he’s clean and well groomed, plus she’s reliable and very flexible with drop-off and pick-up. Her price is a little bit on the higher side, but it’s worth it, and she speaks perfect English which makes communication super easy.

I’ve worked with Vanessa for about three years for dog sitting - weekends, a week, and a couple times up to a month in the summer. I get pictures and video every single day, WhatsApp replies right away, and my dog comes back totally relaxed and happy. She helped me with a little rash around her neck with tips, and there’s always a small detalle when she returns - once a tiny backpack with her name embroidered, other times a little toy. Price feels in line and not a premium, and the handover is always smooth.

I moved here with my dog and needed someone fast, and Vanessa made it easy with a trial night to be sure he got along with other dogs. She sends lots of photos and takes the dogs out - hikes, parks, even a summer dog pool - and our guy comes back in great shape, washed before pickup, and she has also handled a dermatitis cream and meds without any fuss. We've left him for long vacations and the odd long weekend and it has always been a really good experience, very affordable. We joke we come home with more pictures of the dog than of the kids.
