Alex

Barcelona on May 2026

I had a blind that wasn’t going down anymore, and we figured it was a motor issue. Communication was quick on WhatsApp and one of the employees came very fast, confirmed the motor problem, and was fine with us buying the motor separately. When it arrived, we called again and the person came to install it - super punctual - and everything went smoothly. It’s been working great since then and the price felt fair.

Helen

Barcelona on Nov 2025

Adrian turned up on time and fixed my door; he did everything. He was here for quite a long time and when the screws were the wrong size he went to the shop and bought some new ones. He was really friendly, really nice, and he even fixed something I didn’t ask him to do. Price felt fair and he kept it the same even though the job took longer, and I would definitely use him again.

Joel

Barcelona on May 2026

Having just moved to Barcelona, we had dozens of pictures, large and small, we needed hung, including some that went up a turning stairwell. I reached out to Liron and he responded quickly and gave me a fair price. The man who showed up did a great job - on time, clean, quick and exacting. I would gladly hire Liron for all of our needs.

Dos and Don’ts as an expat

Essential dos and don’ts for hiring the best shutter installers

Do’s
Do Check for Positive Customer Feedback
Look for reviews that highlight positive customer experiences, particularly those praising the quality of service, professionalism, and timely completion of shutter installation projects. Customer testimonials can provide insights into the reliability and effectiveness of the installer.
Do Confirm Their Experience with Various Shutter Types
Ensure the installer has extensive experience with different shutter styles and materials. This knowledge can be crucial for achieving the desired aesthetic and functionality, as seasoned professionals can provide valuable recommendations based on your specific needs.
Do Ask for Detailed Quotes and Explanations
Request quotes that break down all costs involved in the installation process, including materials and labor. A transparent quote combined with thorough explanations of each element indicates a trustworthy service provider committed to delivering value.
Do Evaluate Their Aftercare and Support Services
Inquire about aftercare options and warranty services offered by the installer. Positive reviews often emphasize excellent customer support post-installation, ensuring that you have assistance if any issues arise or if maintenance is required.
Dont’s
Don't Skip Background Checks
Always conduct thorough background checks on shutter installers before hiring. Numerous reviews indicate that many customers wish they had verified credentials and experience, as inadequate vetting often leads to poorly executed installations or unprofessional behavior.
Don't Ignore Reading Contracts Carefully
Many customers reported unexpected fees and non-compliance with verbal agreements after signing contracts without thorough review. Ensure you read and understand all terms in a contract to avoid surprises and ensure the service meets your expectations.
Don't Rush Your Decision
Taking your time to compare various shutter installation services can save you from regrettable choices. Rushed decisions often lead to selecting inexperienced installers, resulting in botched installations and costly repairs later on.
Don't Neglect Reviews and Testimonials
Reviews from previous customers provide valuable insights into a service provider's reliability and quality of work. Ignoring these and hiring based solely on recommendations can lead to hiring subpar installers who do not deliver satisfactory results.
